I sprained my wrist!!

How did I sprain myself? This was the most popular question asked by many ppl including strangers. Damn pathetic.

"I sprained my wrist while playing with my nephew, he was too heavy I guess...."

NOW, LAUGH ALL YOU CAN!!! Because this was the response that ppl gave after my sincere explanation. So memalu-fying (embarassing).

If you dun believe me see it for yourself. . .

I seriously don't know what is Mummy II feeding him. He is just 8+ months but his weight is closed to 10kg. I'm just 42kg k....this baby is barely 1 quarter of my weight.

I cant even hold a bottle of water with my right hand bcoz it hurts so badly. NOW, tell me how am I going to play gin rummy tonite? Sighhh...

HAPPY NEW YEAR MY FRIENDS!

Post Dated: My Christmas Celebration

WARNING: THIS POST IS HEAVILY LOADED WITH PHOTOS!

How's your christmas? I enjoyed every moment of it. I just love Christmas Carols, Christmas trees and PRESENTS! (sadly to say that I received less than 8 pressie this year round)
BUT I had lotsa fun. It feels like Chinese New Year as we visited family and friends yesterday especially my beloved Po Po (grandma).

me, popo and Daphne (my other twin sister)

Mummy II and I cooked up a storm in the afternoon and served delicious food at night. I must say that, both of us enjoy
Mrs Voo Moment in the kitchen.
Mummy II's Signature Dish: Assam Fish Fillet

Pineapple Fried Rice (Ham, Cashew Nuts and Raisins)

Meat Roll with Salad Toppings

.....and of course there were Roast Turkey and Roast Lamb Leg. YUMMY!...

During this Christmas season, I am obsessed with trees especially beautiful christmas trees. Its just a sin if I don take any pictures of it.

Don't ask why I was slouching. My mum will yell at me if she sees me hunch.
Probably I was too tired.

All @ 1Borneo

I hope you all enjoy Christmas like Anoti did....
Bought him Adidas shoes, he was so happy that he said " Are u serious? I can't wait to run away with this."
RUN AWAY??#!@#!$#@!

Till I see you guys next year, Merry Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Few More Days to Christmas

Its the month of December.

The month of giving presents to our loved ones.

Another 6 days to Christmas, I have no idea what to give to Anoti for our first Mr & Mrs Christmas.

Another 9 days to our FIRST Anniversary, this one I dont have a SI NGLE idea at all. Actually I do have...but I'm looking at alternatives. Call me indecisive.

This is our FIRST Christmas and Anniversary as Mr & Mrs, I just want to get him something memorable. Very stress!!!! Any idea?

Then yday I asked Anoti, what are you getting me this year. He kept quiet! I think he was shocked when I told him I wanted our 1st Anniversary to be a memorable one! He thought he can just pull thru with candle light dinner, no way dear...... ;P

O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree

Yay! Finally the Christmas tree is up. Despite that Kakak was not around to set the tree up for me, but that doesnt put off my spirit for Christmas. I'm proud to say that I set it up ALL BY MYSELF. Luckily its just a 6ft tree.

Red, Gold and Silver Theme

Setting up part was tiring, but decorating was so much fun. Chipmunks- Christmas Don't Be Late was playing right at the back of my mind. Too bad Anoti was not around, else he'll take pictures of me setting up the tree.

Mine is up! What bout yours? Am really curious to see how friends decorate their Christmas tree. Is there a theme? Or any funny moments to share?

BIGGER DOT?

After a weekend, to be honest, Monday is not a productive day to work. While waiting 4 Anoti to pick me up to work, I was running thru my to-do list and the phone rang.....

"Hello, M-e-r-r-y." (I seriously feel agitated when ppl call me that)

"Yes, Muh-Ree speaking."

"We have a BIGGER DOT?"

"Huh? What product is that? Where are you calling from?" ( I tot it was some kind of goods that we ordered for business)

"July ahhh...you order BIGGER DOT?"

"WHAT IS B-I-G-G-E-R D-O-H? WHAT PRODUCT IS THAT?" ( Back in my mind, I wanted to call Anoti and ask did he order any kinky sex product for BIGGER DUNNO WHAT.)

*silence*

"I'm sorry aa! What product is that? How do you spell this?"

" B...E...A...G...L...E "

"OOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHH!! Its the DOG!! Beagle is it?"

Yea, the pet shop called me to check out the Beagle pup. But then, its not a good idea to have one now as my maid went back to Indonesia for 2 months and we have no idea whether she wants to return. Sad case! I don't even have time to clean our room. The Christmas tree is not UP yet. What a shame!

Padlockssss

Anoti and I saw this when we left the office, walking towards the car park.

Goodness Gracious!!!

Indeed very very high level of security but then I wonder does it serve its purpose.

No joke! Throw it to a burglar, I'm sure he'll be bed ridden. Do u know how heavy are these 'metal langsat'?

I guess the Complex Management cant afford high tech security system but only these. LOL!

Shaving Private Parts

This post is not about shaving ur bushy nest into heart, flower or durian shape. Before you judge me and say that I'm some kinda psycho or pervert. Please READ ON!

When I was about to shut down the computer, Anoti has already tucked comfily in bed with the remote control randomly zapping thru Astro.

"OMG!!! Astro is showing "Shaving Private Parts." O_O

My first reaction was,
" SEE! SEE! Let me WATCH!"

Then I spotted this....

Cheh!
What a turn off!! SAVING PRIVATE RYAN pula! Such a HUGE difference! Hahahaa...Anoti is definitely an attention seeker.

My sincere apology to Director Steven Spielberg or Lead Actor Tom Hanks, Anoti has no intention to condemn ur wonderful movie but he was trying to grab my attention.

Star Of Tomorrow Showcase @ 1Borneo

I've been conned! Anoti said he wanted to go to 1Borneo to watch Madagascar 2.

Before we left the house, he quickly took his DSLR & 55-250mm teleport lens. Wasn't bothered to ask him.
We headed to GSC upon arrival, but was shocked when he returned without the tickets. All he said was, "I'll bring u tmr nite." "What happened?" I asked. All he said was bcoz the Showcase starts at 2pm too, I dont want to miss this event.

Yes...the showcase that he was so excited was this Canton Pageant (Chinese chicks) hosted by Eric Tseng.

We reached there really early...see it for urself....

Out of 12 candidates, only 3 candidates that I personally think that are pretty.

The rest was....hmm...too chinese looking.....eyes were too small and some are are TOO SKINNY!

My favorite was this....(sorry aaa...i 4got ur name and ur number)

She has this ABC look and her eyes are just so electrifying...*shivers*

But then, the judges gave the honor to candidate no.5 which is a dentist. Fair enough, she's very confident during the whole show.

Congratulations No. 5!

The 2 hours event was very entertaining, I'm not really into the girls BUT BUT I admit I was really entertained by this funny fella...

Eric Tseng

Do you know why I'm so into him? Hehehe...while Anoti was busy snapping photos, this man pointed at me and smiled at me. Yiiiihhhaaa!!! I'm a happy chick!

PS: FYI, I'm not into older man, just that I never experience this kinda celebrity encounter. *blush* I live on top of trees remember?

More You & Less Me

"It is a long journey to learn that not everything is about ME and MYSELF. In fact, I am still learning." Cherry
I couldnt agree more to her when she mentioned bout this on her post. What she mentioned has waked me up.

I always blame Anoti for not putting any effort in this baby making project. It is all his fault bcoz all I know that he only cares for his business and nothing else. I guess I am absolutely wrong. I think he wants lil' sunshine as much as I do. What he is doing now is for our future, for a better living.

If he's not keen on having one...he would not have spend good ol' 30 mins with this lil' fella every morning....
Noel, our Nephew @ 7 months

I'm so sorry dear! How silly to think that u are being selfish and you love only your job. *smack meself* Anyway, it gives us more excuse to 'work harder'... Labbiuuuuu....

Everything happens for a reasons...

Have you ever questioned yourself for the things that turned out bad or things that turned out what we call 'unexpected'. I'm a believer of The Means Justify the Ends school of thoughts. Call me old fashion.

When I was in Uni back in Perth, a drastic transformation happened. My weight sky rocketed and my face were as big as the moon. Its every girls nightmare! I broke my own record by going up to 48kg. Everything went out of shape. Horrifying!

What happened? Blame it on my hedonistic lifestyle I supposed. I was just a student, what can you expect from a student. Parties, night lives, drinking nites, pizzas, yum cha sessions, suppers during the odd hours, junk foods like chips and chocolates, the list goes on....... serve me right! Carefree lifestyle the consequences are putting on extra weight.

2 years after graduation, Anoti proposed and we tied the knot last year. Those months before the big day, I believe I was at my best appearance. I was really into making myself healthy and pretty. Went for yoga, facials, dermatologist appointments, manicure pedicure sessions, weekly salon visits. And it all paid off as I feel absolutely great and beautiful during the big day. Not only did I feel absolutely pretty, confidence level was sky high.

After getting married, Anoti wants to hav a mini. After 7 months of trying, all I got was strawberry jam bread every month hence that got Mummy and Mummy II worried. Went to the doctors, paid couple of hundreds just to hear that we should take it easy and relax ourself because we are still young. As I looked back and analysed our lifestyle, both of us were very indeed busy. Juggling btween works is not doing any good to us especially Anoti. His laptop is only put to rest when he sleeps. Being too caught up with life and work sure wont give us any luck of conceiving. Everyone was telling me that I shud be on folate...but then again, i'm not consistent enough. I guess, both of us weren't really trying hard....

Since Christmas is around the corner, if only Santa could hear me, can I hav this.....

....under my christmas tree. Or else just sprinkle me some baby dust because I've been really good and nice this year.

Its the thought of Love

I couldn't be more happier when I picked him up from the airport on Sunday nite. Daddy took the driver seat and both of us sat behind. The whole journey home, Anoti hold my hand by cupping it with his both hands. I think he missed me too. I just kept quiet.....enjoying that silent moment. When we reached home, the 1st thing he did was gave me a big tight hug and lotsa kisses. *paiseh* Distance does make the heart grows fonder. Then, he said he bought something for me from Club Med. Patiently I waited for him to unpack his bag...

...and he bought me this......
For Club Med, its quite a nice Polo T , but I would never purchase it if I see one on the mall or streets. Afterall, its the thoughts that count.....so I gave Anoti a big hug. Then I spotted a tag, when I saw it....i wanted to shout at him.....

SO BIRDIE EXPENSIVE!! #@$*(#$(@*#&(#@*&$)))(*@#@!

What a ripped off! Wanted to tell him, how silly he was to buy such an overpriced Polo T, but then I rather keep it to myself, or else, I'll be getting nothing next time. To calm myself down, I quickly go get myself a glass of ice water. *gulp*

Girls, how do you respond if your darling buy something that is ridiculously overpriced or some unattractive gift for you? Do you break his heart? Or you put up a Julia Robert smile and act that you love it very much.

In my humble opinion, I think someone shud conduct a class like THE ART OF BUYING GIFTS FOR YOUR LOVED ONES
. What do you reckon?

Its not easy....

Day one was really bad, I could hardly fall asleep. Only till then I realised that our king size bed is unquestionably huge. I slept at his side, used his bolster and pillow, but that doesn't stop me from thinking of him. I tucked myself in before 11pm but I only manage to drift into lalaland around 2am in the morning. I woke up at 9am the next morning.

I dislike driving to work alone. I have to carry my own laptop bag, this is not fun. All these while I took all his effort for granted, all his small little gestures like carrying my laptop bag and my water tumbler means a lot to me. Driving home after work was even worse, we usually talk and discuss bout our daily encounters and events, yesterday I was sitting alone listening to Hitz FM until MIL called and asked where about. I told her, "I'm on my way home."

Last year's Halloween, Anoti made me this cute lil' fella...

If I were to celebrate Halloween in KK, give me a flying broomstick please.

I want to dress up like the pretty Nicole Kidman riding on her flying broomstick. Gosh I miss him so much.

2 sleepless nights are good enough to make me a member of the panda family. I think its wise that I go home to sleep with my mum tonite or else I might give Anoti a shock when he sees me on Sunday nite. Wouldn't want to risk myself looking like this.

Till then have a good weekend!!

When you're away......

Anoti went to Clubmed Cherating(incentive trip) flew to KL this afternoon and will only be back till Sunday night. Since married, this is the FIRST time, he is away from me. Without him around, my world is so gloomy, and my mood is decidedly downbeat.

Tonite is my first night without him beside me, I just can't imagine the rest of nights. He called me up just now and told me that without me around, he rather keep the DSLR in the bag, no subject to take. When I heard that, tears rolled down like a leaking tape water.

Normally he is the one who shuts the window bcoz he knows that I'm scared that there might be lizards sticking on it. Tonite, I left it open. He is the one who turns off the lights when we sleep, tonite, I have to leave the bedside lightings on.

He is now in KL and will only be going to Clubmed tomorrow morning. Sigh~~I seriously miss him very very much....but I can't let him know I cry or else he will not enjoy his trip.

Blame it on me, I'm just too dependent on him. Tell me how am I going to sleep tonite......

Shattered,
Mrs. Anoti :(

Your is Mine, Mine is Mine

Finally I understand the meaning of " What's yours is mine..."

Before this, I had always wanted a DSLR. After one year, my wish came true.

When Anoti decided to get me a Canon EOS 450D, Canon launched a value for money camera EOS Rebel XS. Just the right timing!

I'm as happy as a dancing bumble bee.

But later I found out that this so called gift, is not really mine. Because Anoti was playing with it every night. He even went to the extreme of buying extra lens. And those lens don't come cheap.
Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6

And when I tought he would be contented with this, he bought another lens today.

I seriously don't understand what is in his head. That day he was complaining bout the price of chicken wings, and now he spends like no body's business. I geram or not? U tell me.

"UUUIIIII!!! (no more darling, loung gung, baby) WHO LET YOU BUY THIS?"

"It's all because of you, you will need this one day, trust me!"

Get me a bucket! I WANT TO VOMIT BLOOD!

Happy Deepavali

Finally I found a place with Wi-Fi, thanks to Vedablu Tawau. Went to KFC this morning and was told that, WIFI is not available during weekends and public holiday. I seriously didnt know that KFC Modems are given such a special labor 'privilege'.

Wanted to post up my pics. BUT the ultimate "prawn head", have forgotten to pack the card reader. Hence, Anoti punished me by making me pay the bill at Vedablu. (Not only did I forget to pack the card reader, instead of packing for 4 days 3 nites, I packed for 3 days 2 nites. Silly me!) I don't think I'm a very good wife....hmmph....

Have a nice Holiday!

Tawau Trip

I'll be away during this long weekend. Will be attending my daddy's best friend wedding at Tawau. Nothing to brag about, but when I know that his wife is barely my sister's age (20 y.o), I just couldn't help but to wonder how should I address my uncle's wife. FYI, my uncle is 47 y.o.

Love is blind. Perhaps love can really make us walk that extra mile.
This I ponder......

Daddy told us he'll bring us to savour Tawau best food. This I can't wait!! SEAFOOD SEAFOOD HERE I COME! If the weather allows, I might be going to Sipadan or Pom Pom Island. Have to put my Canon EOS 1000D to good use
. Give me my sunblock.

My 1 month old baby!! Gift from Anoti.

That has nothing to do with me....

(Picture from wokkingmum)

Isn't that YUMMY??

My mom called me up this morning and 'invited' A-noti and I to have dinner at home. We were delighted. Ever since I got married, I normally go back to have dinner once or twice a week. Mummy normally cooks like she's throwing a big feast, she can never get the potion right. I think she hates her Maths teacher and gave up counting or estimating ever since...

Today, mummy cooked her signature chicken wings which is one of Anoti's favorite. I ate so so much that my stomach was about to explode, horribly life threatening!!! the fruits that were prepared, was left UNTOUCHED. Can u imagine that?

On our way home, Anoti was still talking bout mummy's chicken wings. From chicken wings...it lead Anoti to this....

"I still remember when I was courting you, the price of BBQ Chicken Wings was just RM1. Then, when we started dating, the price of BBQ Chicken Wings was RM1.20. Before I marry you, it was like RM 1.50. And now, after getting married, its has gone up to freaking RM1.80. SO TERRIBLE!!! "

Deep inside, I was fuming when I heard that and blurted.....
"What does chicken wings has to do with me a? So for this recent economic down turn, are you putting the blame on me?" *roll eyes*

BOY!! I seriously have no idea what is in my man's mind. Enlighten me please!

Sushi, anyone?

Work has been really stressful especially every beginning and end of the month. Juggling between 2 business, ain't that stressful enough, you tell me. When the mind is congested with errands, appointments and endless assignments, the mind will just go blank for a while.

Have you experienced when the mind just went blank and the hand starts to scribble. when you're just so stressed and the poor pen is the only victim that you can release all ur tension, that's the time your hand will be busy scribbling unrelated notes or drawings. This happens all the time, especially when you're on the phone.

Did you know that all these unrelated notes and drawings may take on meanings. Having that in mind, I saw Anoti's note pad written "SUSHI", while he was talking on the phone. I was DAMN HAPPY thinking that I will have a Japanese weekend or Japanese Dinner tonite. But bcoz I was too busy to confirm with him, I went on doing my work.

So, in the afternoon, when we went out to deliver our goods, Anoti took out his hp....

"Hello can I speak to Sushi please? I'm Anoti from XXX ...."

O_o" WHO ON EARTH CALL HERSELF SUSHI!!!!!!!

"Are you serious? Sushi?"

"She said she's Sushi wor..."

"Name aaa?? Its SUZY lar!!!!"

"There's such name call Suzy meh?"

*fainted on the floor*

Pardon me. You see, my Anoti knows Mimi, Amy, Annie, Mary, Michelle, Lisa, Jane, Melissa, Jessica, Joanne.....

Geraldine, Giselle, Daisy, Daniella, Faythe, Anastacia, Zara, Zaria are definitely not in his dictionary. But this clearly proves that my Anoti doesn't have many girlfriends. As far as I'm concern, he is only interested in MARIE, so it doesn't matter if he doesn't know that there's Suzy, Suzie, Sneezy or Sleezy....

But I clearly know that there goes my Japanese dinner tonite/weekend....

Have a great weekend!

Meant for each other?

Walking down that 10 yrs, this is a question I NEVER ask myself.

Never did I ask myself, how compatible we are.....
Can sumone define compatible pls, we don't fart at the same time, how?

Never did I ask myself, can I love this man for the rest of my life....
Aiya, 'love' is just a word, I don't even know how long I'll live

Never did I ask myself, do we share the same interest....
I don't care, as long as he don't stop me from doing what I like

Never did I ask myself, do we share the same value of life....
Aren't sleep, eat, work, shit and *ahem* valueS of life, everyone does it right?

Never did I ask myself, will I find happiness....
Cheh! Happy maaa....can find elsewhere...why must it be his responsible

Never did I ask myself, is he the one for me....
Whether he's the one or not, i need someone to catch cockroach, to change the tires, to carry shopping bags, not easy to find these days

Never did I ask myself, what if I'm wrong....
How wrong wor? This is not an exam, I won't be graded maaa....

You see, I never seem to bother all these questions. Am I putting my future to RISK? *smacks head* Someone should inform me earlier.....Oh boy!! Don't start the grandmother story k....

Hmm...Are we meant for each other? It makes me ponder...

I think I need to find an answer to this.

So without thinking twice, I checked him out, search search search and found this.....

Oh yes! "Identical Moles" stamped by God when he made Anoti and I.

P/s: Lou Gung, DON'T RUN AWAY! I'm destined to spend all your earnings......*evil grins*

You are Fired!

We fired the confinement lady yesterday! We made up a story telling her that my BIL's parents will be arriving today because they are very worried about my SIL. My BIL in a very polite manner said sorry to the aunty and said he'll pay him RM1k for 10 days.

To be honest, NON of us like the confinement lady. She's damn lazy, she doesn't know how to cook, she's very dirty and she's very kaypoh. We later found out that she's inexperienced. SEI MEI!! Coming to the house is like a Get A Way Bali Trip for her. Summore, she get paid RM2200 for this holiday....

For the past 10 days, Mummy II will complain bout the CL over dinner, can u imagine EVERYDAY non stop. I pity Mummy II, she was the one who is doing all the cookings, washings (w machine), feeding (SIL & Baby) and changing nappies. Ppl who do not know her might mistaken her as the Confinement Lady. And that so called confinement lady duty is to bathe baby and fold nappies. *smacks head*

Anoti was so furious and told Mummy II to fire her. He was the one who gave Mummy II the courage. Mummy II took Anoti's advice, called up for replacement and fire the Confinement Lady the next day.

My SIL is such a poor thing, she has infections at her *ahem* and the confinement lady is giving her pain in the *ass*. So its good for her and the baby that the aunty leaves.

It gives me a lesson, next time I'll interview my CL before I hire her. I'll show her the recipe book and see whether she can cook all the dishes inside. Or else, I wouldn't think of taking her.

SO BYE BYE AUNTY!

>>Talking bout confinement, I'm so so lucky because I get a share on what my SIL is having. I get to drink Red & Black Dates Drinks every morning, herbal soup in the afternoon and Chicken Wine everyday. I think I'll be really healthy after all these.

Never Changing Love

I couldn't stop admiring this beautiful post from Chinnee. I think she's very lucky to have a beautiful daughter, expecting twins at this time is just another BONUS for her. I feel like falling pregnant instantly after looking at her pregnancy photos. Jazzmint is such a wonderful photographer. Not only she's good with camera, she's also very good with scrapbook.

Baby Noel right after his first bath. Very confused indeed!
Blur and innocent.

Since my SIL gave birth to baby Noel, my life has changed tremendously. I'm madly in love with this lil' fella. I must see him everyday even how busy I am. Looking at his little fingers just give me peace of mind. Better than yoga I guess. So relaxing! How I wished that he is mine.

It also gives me joy when I visit all these mama blogs. I couldnt ask for more but to admire their efforts, undeniably that their love for their kids are the greatest love of all. Dinah with her 2 darlings, Alice with Darrius, Jazzmint with 2 Hon's, Agnes with her princesses, Chinnee with QQ & twins.

After seeing what my SIL gone thru, from pregnancy to giving birth, a mother's affection and love is the courage that enables normal people like us to do the impossible, I truly admire and respect all the mummies out there.

"Dear Lord, please protect all the mummies out there. Give them the strength to overcome all obstacles that may come between them. Make them strong. Comfort them when they need you the most. Give them the courage to face all uncertainties. And most importantly, make them happy. Amen."

I just don't understand why am I so emotional lately. Perhaps, blame it on my ticking biological clock. But I sincerely hope it won't tick past a meaningless milestone. *finger crossed*

Wedding Gown Hunt in Guang Zhou : Part 3

HOW CHEAP IS CHEAP?

There's no yard stick to this. Here's my definition of cheap: Renting a gown from bridal shop cost RM300 while a brand new gown from GZ is just barely RM130, this is what I call DIRT CHEAP!

Don't believe me, let me show you this.
Around RMB200

Less than RMB 250

Retail price RMB 400
(my friend go ahead and bargain and see what u get)

ALL these are less than RMB 290.

Tell me! Cheap or not? Hello!!!! its not RINGGIT MALAYSIA, its in REN MIN BI.
RM 1 = RMB2.2 (April 08)
So go and do the maths.

Besides wedding/evening gowns, make sure you buy your wedding accessories like necklace, earrings, headpiece, matching hand gloves from Guang Zhou. I guarantee you that its cheaper over there.
When you see shops like these....

make sure you go in and find the perfect accessories/ hand gloves/ head piece to match your gowns.

Other than that, don't miss out the all the 'Ang Ang' (Red Red) wedding necessities....
DOUBLE HAPPINESS wordings, Ang Pows

Tea sets

Or anything that you think is NECESSARY!! I repeat NECESSARY!!

I have given you all the details. And now its time for you to discover Guang Zhou wedding street on your own. And I hope all these would help.

Latest Update:
According to Mr Meow, estimated cost for low budget traveling 3D/2N for 2 to GZ (air ticket, accommodation[2 star], transportation, gowns[4 gowns] and miscellaneous) is less than RM3000. Mr Meow, I seriously "pui fuk" you!
