Isaac's First Date

This is Kimberly @ 5 months. (a month younger than Isaac)

When Kimberly's mummy told me she was pregnant, I know there will be a day her baby and my baby will be playmates. And this day happened on the the 6th March 2010 (Saturday) and 7th March 2010 (Sunday).

(6th March 2010 @ Aunty Grace Room)

I have no idea whether the 2 will like each other. But after a few warm ups, they seem to get along really well.
(7th March 2010 @ Our place)

Sometimes I wonder, do babies talk to each other in their own baby way? If yes, I certainly want to know what was my boy thinking when he was doing this.....

A."Wow! You have cool pants."

OR

B."What's that on your pants?"

OR

C."Why aren't you wearing cloth diaper like mine?"

OR

D."So what makes us different ar? Let me check."

What could it be?

Starting on Solid

After a long wait, 6th of March marked the day Isaac had his first taste of solid.

One day before his momentous day, I went to get him a red hot sexy high chair. I was thrilled and excited. Looking at this chair, makes me go hungryyy....(i hope it works the same for Isaac)

(Preparing Pure Rice Paste)

On that glorious morning, EVERYONE (Anoti, Me, MIL, 3 maids) was vivacious as if it was Christmas morning. All of us can't wait to witness Isaac's historic moment. The kitchen was surely busy as if we were preparing for a feast.

When all of us were busy in the kitchen. Anoti warmed up the scene by putting Isaac into high chair. My boy took the seat like a pro.

The moment that we have all been waiting for had arrived, when the spoon touches his mouth.....

MY BOY WENT CHOMP CHOMP CHOMP! Everyone clapped as if Malaysia had won the World Cup. From this, I can tell that my son is absolutely ready for food. Don't you think so?

A NEW ME + BABY

Mini Anoti is not any textbook baby. U know, at birth he doesn't function as baby, he is awake most of the time and he wants to be carried at all times. Worst of all, he cried so loud that even my mother and MIL were afraid of him. Definitely not an easy going baby.

Bloody stool, cow's milk protein allergy and soya protein allergy had really traumatized us the NEW PARENTS, and I became a worry wart because of this. (I'm really close to having postpartum depression.)

Today, Mini Anoti is a wonderful baby that both Anoti and I are blessed to have. At 6 months, he is progressing really well. I'm so proud of him.

As for me, besides gaining extra weight, bigger arms, stretchmark jelly belly, I'm enjoying every single of my Mummy Moment. Ah! I feel so good about it.
